At the occasion of this year’s World Mail and Express Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the CEO of swiss mail solutions, Georg Weidinger, was invited to speak about his view on the developments of the e-commerce business.
With special attention to the e-commerce volume between the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, the time from ordering to delivering the goods and customers’ expectations he presented his ideas on how to fasten up delivery time and increase customer satisfaction.

Going in line with other speakers who showed that the time to deliver goods directly from Asia to European customers takes much too long and receivers are often disappointed, he focused on the European approach of using European fulfillment companies to pick & pack the ordered goods.

Georg Weidinger set a special focus on solutions for low value consignment relief (LVCR).

Presenting swiss mail solutions’ capacities in the fulfillment business with its pick & pack facilities in Austria and in a bonded warehouse in Belgrade he also highlighted the various distribution possibilities with a wide range or service levels.

While one single postal operator will always offer his own distribution channel for parcel or letter service, swiss mail solutions as an independent service provider will always offer the channel and the service which suits the needs of its customers best.
